1. SA18S10W-06 Substitution Conclusion
The SA18S10W-06 can serve as a complete drop-in replacement for the original FMAT7626-6. Both components share identical core electrical and mechanical specifications: 6 dB attenuation, a frequency range from DC to 18 GHz, a power handling capability of 10W, 50-ohm impedance, and an inline SMA Plug-to-Jack configuration. There is no measurable difference between the SA18S10W-06 and the original part in terms of RF performance, power rating, or connector compatibility. It can be directly substituted without impacting system operation within the 18 GHz frequency band.
2. FMAT7463-6 Substitution Conclusion
The FMAT7463-6 is only a suitable substitute for the original FMAT7626-6 under limited conditions. The key differentiating parameter is the frequency range. The FMAT7463-6 has a maximum operating frequency of 12.4 GHz, compared to 18 GHz for the original part. If the host system operates above 12.4 GHz (e.g., in portions of the Ku-band), substituting with the FMAT7463-6 will lead to severe degradation in attenuation performance and VSWR. This can introduce unpredictable insertion loss and signal distortion. Therefore, its use is strictly limited to systems where the operational frequency does not exceed 12.4 GHz. All other parameters—attenuation value, power rating, impedance, and connector interface—are identical between the two parts.
