Second, the gain-bandwidth product drops from 2MHz to 1.1MHz, and the slew rate decreases from 1V/µs to 0.6V/µs. This will limit circuit performance with high-frequency or fast-changing signals. Its advantages include a lower minimum operating voltage of 3V (compared to 8V for the original part), a stronger output drive current of 40mA, and AEC-Q100 automotive-grade qualification for higher reliability. For non-precision, medium-to-low-speed circuits that may involve wide supply voltages or automotive environments, it is a viable substitute.
