1. Voltage Tolerance

• Operating input voltage range: 1.25 V to 6.0 V.
• Absolute maximum rating is not specified; the device operates up to 6.0 V. In application, input voltage should not exceed this value, and a small series resistor or TVS diode should be considered for surge spike protection.

2. Input Current Consumption

• Quiescent current (Iq, no load): 300 µA typical.
• Maximum supply current (including internal drive and logic circuitry): 3 mA.
• Shutdown mode (EN = low): total typical consumption from input is 10 nA.

3. Enable Control (EN Pin)

4. Input‑Side Protection

• Reverse current / reverse polarity protection: when Vout > Vin or the supply is reversed, internal circuitry prevents reverse current from flowing from the output back to the input.

5. Input Capacitor Selection

• This LDO has a typical dropout of 130 mV at 2 A load. To output 5.75 V, the input voltage must be ≥ 5.75 V + 0.25 V (maximum dropout) = 6.0 V, which hits the upper limit with no design margin. If the output current approaches 2 A, keep the input voltage stable between 5.9 V and 6.0 V, or reduce the output voltage setpoint, to avoid regulation loss due to input voltage fluctuations."
