• TSSOP package θJA = 25°C/W, maximum junction temperature 150°C. At ambient 85°C, allowable power dissipation is 2.6W. With 8 channels all at 1A output and a large dropout voltage, total loss easily exceeds the limit; derating or enhanced heat sinking is required, otherwise thermal shutdown will be triggered.

• Buck topology requires VOUT < VIN, actual maximum output is approximately VIN − 0.1V ~ 0.2V.

• Switching frequency 1~3MHz, minimum on-time approximately 40~60ns, minimum duty cycle = tON_min × fSW. At 3MHz, minimum duty cycle is about 18%. If VIN=5.5V and VOUT=0.8V (duty cycle 14.5%), regulation cannot be stable; pulse skipping will occur and ripple increases. fSW or VIN must be reduced.

• Nominal VIN range 2.25~5.5V, but recommended minimum operating voltage is 2.7V (determined by EN pin threshold and UVLO). Below 2.7V, reliable startup may not be guaranteed or reset may occur during load transients.

• Parallel configuration: 4A output requires 4 channels, reducing the number of remaining independent channels to 4. A trade-off between current capability and number of output channels must be considered.

• Input decoupling: 8-channel 90° phase interleaving reduces input RMS current, but high-frequency content increases. Low ESR ceramic capacitors (10µF + 0.1µF placed close to VIN pin) are required.
