Protection and Control Features of the TPS7A6033QKTTRQ1:
- Enable Control: Equipped with an enable pin; pulling it low enters sleep mode, with typical quiescent current < 2 µA.
- Power-On Reset: Integrated open-drain reset pin indicates whether the output voltage is stable. Reset delay is 250 µs typical by default and can be programmed via an external capacitor.
- Low-Voltage Tracking: Supports low input voltage tracking, allowing the use of smaller input capacitors and enabling cold-crank operation without an additional boost converter.
- Overcurrent Protection: Integrates short-circuit protection and current limiting, automatically limiting current when the safe range is exceeded.
- Thermal Protection: Shuts down the regulator when junction temperature exceeds the safety threshold; rated junction temperature range is –40°C to 150°C.
- Undervoltage Lockout: Automatically disables the output when the input voltage falls below the minimum threshold.
Additional: The device is optimized for stability with low-ESR ceramic capacitors; it is AEC-Q100 qualified (Grade 1).
